Ricoris Privacy Notice
Last updated: 4 November 2026. This notice describes the current Ricoris playtest, its account service and this website.
Who operates Ricoris
Ricoris is operated by Seldrick De Leon, an individual developer based in the Philippines. For privacy questions and requests, email support@ricoris.online. A fallback contact is seldrickd@gmail.com.
Playing and signing in
You can use guest play without creating a Ricoris account. Online play sends your chosen game name, appearance, gameplay actions and connection information to the game server. Other players can see your game name, appearance, match activity and selected quick messages.
If you choose Google sign-in, Google supplies a sign-in token that Ricoris verifies. The token can contain Google account and profile information. Ricoris stores the Google account identifier needed to recognize you, a Ricoris account ID, your chosen game name, friend code and account creation time. The account database does not store your Google email address, Google profile name, password or raw Google sign-in token. Google handles its services under Google's Privacy Policy.
Ricoris also stores session and game-entry credential hashes, friend requests, accepted friendships, blocks, and eligible Ranked-match results and legacy pre-Ranked results. Your game name and Ranked wins can appear on public rankings. Classic, practice and private-room results do not advance the Ranked ladder. Friends and people involved in friend requests can see your game name and friend code. Ricoris does not import your phone contacts.
Why information is used
Information supports sign-in, online matches, friends, rankings, connection security and prevention of duplicate match results. Network addresses are processed to connect players and limit abusive requests. The game server can temporarily queue match results containing account IDs while the account service is unavailable.
Your chosen name, skin and game settings are saved on your device. Ricoris session credentials stay in app memory rather than being saved in these preferences. The current playtest uses preset quick messages and has no free-text or voice chat. It includes Google Play Billing, AdMob and UMP components with Google sample test ads enabled for testers; live commercial ads and purchases remain disabled. Test ads connect to Google to load advertising content; they are not revenue-generating ads. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s test-ad documentation. No paid subscription or cosmetic checkout is offered in this test build. The device can retain up to two ad-opportunity timestamps and the last clock check to enforce frequency limits; this history contains no player identifier.
Service providers and support
Hosting providers process information needed to run Ricoris services. Google provides sign-in. If you email support, your email address, message and anything you choose to attach are processed to answer the request. Include only what is needed, and remove private information from screenshots. Never send a password, sign-in token or payment-card details.
Visiting the Ricoris website sends ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and requested page, to its hosting service. The website does not embed analytics, advertising, social widgets or remote fonts, and does not set tracking cookies.
Joining the Ricoris Discord community is optional. The invitation takes you to Discord; there is no embedded Discord widget on this website. Your Discord account, messages and activity are handled under Discord’s Privacy Policy. Public community messages can be seen by other members. Do not share account credentials or private support information there; use the support contact instead. Download links take you to Google Drive, which is covered by Google’s Privacy Policy.
Retention and deletion
Account records and saved wins remain in the live account database until account deletion; the current service does not automatically expire inactive accounts or historical wins. Sessions expire after 30 days and game-entry tickets after 60 seconds, although expired database rows are cleaned up during later service activity rather than necessarily at that exact moment.
Deleting your account removes its live profile, Google identity link, sessions and tickets, friend relationships, requests and blocks, saved wins and participation records. Other players keep their own wins. The service retains random match IDs, result hashes and receipt times to prevent duplicate results. These integrity records are pseudonymous, and currently have no automatic expiry.
Purchases are disabled in the public playtest. If an account has test-purchase entitlements from development testing, deleting it removes those cosmetic entitlements and its encrypted cosmetic receipt; signing in again does not restore them. Pseudonymous purchase ownership records remain to prevent reuse. Deleting a Ricoris account is separate from managing or cancelling any subscription in Google Play.
Account deletion does not automatically erase earlier backups, hosting logs, support correspondence, local device preferences or a pending game-server result queue. The current playtest has not established a fixed deletion schedule for all of these copies. Contact support about the scope and status of your request; do not assume that all copies disappear immediately.
Use the account deletion page for the in-app steps or to request deletion without reinstalling the app. Deleting Ricoris does not delete your Google account. Uninstalling or signing out alone does not delete your Ricoris account. Local preferences can be removed through your device's app-storage controls.
Your choices and future changes
Ricoris is intended for players aged 13 and above. If you believe an account belongs to someone under 13, contact support so it can be investigated. A 13+ audience does not mean that all players are adults or that advertising consent requirements are the same in every country.
You can choose a game nickname instead of your real name, use guest play, sign out, manage friends and blocks, or request account deletion. Avoid putting personal contact details in a public nickname. Contact support for questions about access, correction or deletion of your information.
If advertising, purchases or additional data uses are introduced, this notice and the relevant in-app controls will need to change before those features are released. This notice does not mean you have consented to future advertising.
